Assistant Coach - Providence Day School
Coach Warren recently completed his second year as Assistant Coach of Providence Day School where he helped lead the Chargers to a state championship-final appearance and an overall record of 17-6... Last summer he helped guideTeam Charlotte to it’s best ever 22-2 mark... Previously, he coached McQuaid High School (Rochester, NY) to the best record in School History and best winning percentage in Section V Class A. Coach Warren has developed numerous All-Conference, All-State and High School All-Americans in his coaching tenure.
Acquired by the Rochester Rattlers in the 2001 MLL Supplemental Draft... A Penn State University graduate... Was a four-year starter, team captain, MVP, Pittenger Award recipient, All-Conference and North/South Senior All-Star Game Selection... Ranks 15th on school’s all-time scoring list... Led Penn State to the best record in School History 1995.
Represented the US as the youngest Member of the STX ALL-Star Team in the 1994 Australian National Lacrosse Championships in Adelaide, South Australia... Awarded Championship game MVP Honors.
New York State - Section V's - Outstanding Contribution to Lacrosse Award Recipient - McQuaid High School... McQuaid's all-time leader in career points... Empire State Games Bronze Medal Winner - Team Western.
He has served as a People to People Sports Ambassador for the Sport of Lacrosse as well as a Regional Chapter President for US Lacrosse.
He resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife Melissa and daughter Peyton Jayne.
Bobby Thompson
Head Coach - Providence Day School
Head Coach - Providence Day School. Coach Thompson just completed his sixth year as the head coach of Providence Day School. Since taking over the program in 2005, the Chargers have amassed a record of 99-27, reaching the playoffs in each of those six seasons. He has guided PDS to the state championship game four out of the last five years, winning its first ever championship in 2007. Along with the state title, he was awarded NCISAA coach of the the year in 2007. Coach Thompson also teaches 6th grade History at PDS.
Prior to taking over the varsity position at PD, he coached the JV team for two years and served as an assistant varsity coach at Charlotte Latin from 2000-2002. Over the past summers, Coach Thompson has headed up both the U-15 and U-13 South Charlotte Select squads, as well as the Carolina Colts.
Originally from Rochester, NY, Thompson attended Penfield High School where he was a Co-Captain, an All-Conference selection, and named team MVP. He was Co-Captain at Siena College where he played Midfield for the Division I Saints. He resides in Charlotte with his wife Danielle, their two sons William and Scott, and daughters Charlie and Riley.
Chris Schiller
High School career
Chris Schiller Attended McQuiad Jesuit High School in Rochester, NY. While at McQuaid Chris was selected as a First Team All-American.
College career
Schiller attended Penn St University from 1995 to 1999. During his final year, he was a Honorable Mention All-American, and won the John Watkins Scholarship for lacrosse.
Professional career
Schiller is a Member of the United States Men's Indoor and Outdoor team and a 10 year Veteran with the Rochester Knighthawks of the NLL. Schiller was a member of the 2007 NLL Championship team and was named to the NLL All-Rookie Team in 2002-03. Schiller was on the practice squad for the 2001 NLL champion Philadelphia Wings and won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2010 FIL World Lacrosse Championships. He had played eight seasons with the Rochester Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse from 2001-08. In 2008, he was a member of the Steinfeld Cup championship team.
Personal
Schiller is married to wife Jennifer and has a daughter Bryn. Currently the Schiller's reside in Charlotte, NC.
